What is NetIDplus? NetIDplus, powered by Duo, is the university two-factor authentication method, designed to add a second layer of security to your NetID account. Verifying your identity using a second factor, such as your phone or a security key, prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password. Why Do I Need This? How to Use the UTD VPN - University of Texas at Dallas The basic process of using the UTD VPN to access campus-only websites is as follows. Navigate to the UTD VPN URL (see above). Login to the UTD VPN site using your UTD credentials (NetID and password). Create a Web Bookmark for the link you wish to visit. Installing and Connecting to GlobalProtect VPN - Windows Open the GlobalProtect VPN client on your machine, enter the Portal Address as utdvpn.utdallas.edu, and click Connect.
